Working as an artist can be a very solitary experience. It may be solitary but it certainly isn’t boring. There is a lot of activity going on internally and physically. A lot of critical thinking, decision making, trying new media or ways of using materials, and developing ideas about the meaning of the work being done. Educationally, I believe children really need to have a form of art in their everyday learning in order to be independent critical thinkers. 

The physicality of making art is also helpful with balance, mobility, and in some cases strength of body. 

So today there were more strawberries drawn as well as working on an other piece that I am beginning. Crossing over from one piece to another is fun and good for my ability to see the work I have done with a fresh view.
