Experimenting with Gouache and soft pastels

 Soft pastels and Gouache have many things that I love about both of them but I've never tried using them together. They both have a lot of color saturation, flatness, they are thick and  buttery, and they both can be used like water color paint (if the soft pastels are water soluble). So, today I decided to play around with them together on a gessoed board. It was great! So if there is anyone looking at this blog let me know if you have used them together, how, and what do you think!!!
